View Full Version : Cupid Works Overtime
Heart Shaped Box 04-17-2005, 08:22 PM Yes sadly, TC is coming to an end for the 8th and final season. I know it sucks for all you Terri fans, but now we can all start over with the Chrissy seasons. I'm really excited about this, but it will be hard for me to watch the last four episodes. But I think this episode is cute espescially with the Jack and Janet scene in the couch. But everyone knows that Jack and Janet should have gotten married. Anyone else going to watch this episode?
I Love John Ritter 04-17-2005, 08:25 PM I won't be watching it. I never watch the last three episodes. I thought the Jack and Janet part in "Cupid Works Overtime" was sweet, but I don't think they should of gotten married. I don't like the ending they gave "Three's Company", but I do however, believe that Jack and Janet should not have gotten married.
Terri Cardellini 04-17-2005, 08:38 PM i always watch it. Eventhough it's very sad to see the end of the Terri episodes, it's still considered a Terri episode, so I still watch it since i have to wait until season 6 for the Terri ones to start up again
Number 9 Dream 04-17-2005, 08:41 PM I think I'll be watching the episodes...but, again, I'm not sure. It just makes me sad to watch it end :( I've accepted the fact that it ended the way it did(although I'm not happy with it) but I just hate watching it. But it's hard for me to ignore a TC episode when it's on  So I may end up watching it after all. We'll see.

I agree! I usually watch most of the episodes...b/c its still TC but this one is kinda hard! I think I may just watch the JJ parts and then change the channel I don't know...but I DEF. THINK JACK AND JANET SHOULD HAVE ENDED TOGETHER!!! JJR:biglove:CK!!
Heart Shaped Box 04-17-2005, 09:22 PM Yeah, I think I'm going to watch it. I'm going to tape the last three episodes - don't ask me why. It always makes me sad, but I just can't not watch TC.

Why don't you think JJ should have ended together?!?! I am not trying to be rude (just in case it comes out like that) I know everyone has a diff. opinion but I just want to know why u don't think this?!?!

I enjoyed seeing them as just friends. They actually acted a lot like brother and sister, IMO, so it just wouldn't seem right to me. Besides, the show was about how the three of them lived together platonically. I know everyone else here thinks differently, but this is what I think.

That's cool!! I can see it both ways honestly, although I wanted them to be together. I totally respect your opinion, and I'm sure the others do too :D

I like the first epi better then the second one! I do'nt know why I can't stand Icky! I can kinda handle Philip but yuck he is annoying to but Icky just ahhh! I can't stand! The only thing worth seeing out of the 2nd epi was just the JJ part to me! I liked the frist epi b/c it wasn't so serious as the 2nd one! It was just a silly TC epi just like many others! I mostly love the ending!
McFly121 04-19-2005, 03:06 AM Yep, I'm of the group that saw J and J as longtime friends. For them to all of a sudden fall in love would've been out of place. I think TC had the best finale of any I've ever seen, and I've been watching finale's since TC's in 1984. Cheers, Night Court, Cosby, Seinfeld, they all had lame, unfunny endings. John alone in the bed scene with the pillows, hilarious.
The only thing I don't like is the overbearing father. That was just cliche and he was annoying. Plus I always felt Jack and Janet should've had the final moment alone in the apartment. Say goodbye to Teri so J and J, the only two to have been there since the beginning, have the last moments of closing the door. I adore Terri and Furley but I think Teri should've followed Furley after he left.

I agree, and what the hell did Terri look back and stare at the apartment for? She was only there for two years-lol So like you said u should have been Janet or Jack, or both at the same time

I only watched The Herris because I wanted to see what Phillip looked like/When I did,I thought "poor Janet"
Auntie 04-19-2005, 02:08 PM Oh, I've been taping these episodes since the 1st season started. I like having the choice of seeing either dvd or VHS. I always try to stay up for Three's Company' when it comes on @ 11:00pm(here in the east). I kind of also find it hard to watch the ending, but that just leaves us to see it all over again with that sweet  they find :sleep2: in the :bath . Boy, where can I find a roomate like that? :jack
