Besides Friends, the one I consider a classic is The Bob Newhart Show's one from 1975. Bob, Howard and Jerry get drunk, and while they're sitting on the couch in Bob and Emily's new apartment they one by one recite this: "I love coffee." "I love tea." "I love the java jive and it loves me."

I enjoyed the Family Ties Thanksgiving episode where Elyse's parents were visiting and she and Steven ended up in jail.

Yeah I like that one too. I also enjoyed the first thanksgiving episode in "Spin City" - Gobble the Wonder Turkey Saves the Day. I don't know any more than the ones already mentioned.

The episode on WKRP where they dropped the Turkeys out of the plane was
a good Thanksgiving episode.

Also the episode of the Bob Newhart Show where Emily goes out of town and the guys get wasted at Bob's apartment. This is the "moo goo goo goo" episode. Classic!! :rofl:

I also thought the Bewitched ep where Aunt Clara takes the Stephens (and Mrs. Kravitz) to the first Thanksgiving was very sweet. :D

The Bob Newhart Show one is an absolute classic - Bob Newhart is at his very best comedy

Cheers was very funny too and I know you said no Friends, but the one with football in the park is their best Thanksgiving one

Oh and the Wonder Years one where Jack has to work and the 8 Simple Rules one after John Ritter's character died are both sentimental and nice

Yes . . . Roseanne had some great ones. Mad About You also had some great Thanksgiving episodes, the the season 3 episode where they are trying to impress their family, and Murray eats the turkey.
