We bought a new Weber grill today. Charcoal is the best way to go for me. I think gas grills are useless as you don't get the charcoal flavor. I buy all sorts of marinades for chicken, sirloin tips, etc. I also have a grill basket which is handy for shish-kabobs made with shrimp, chicken or beef.

My friend's husband takes grilling seriously. It's a hobby of sorts. He has this special grill where he can cook a turkey or roast. He puts fresh veggies...zuchini, carrots, broccoli, onions, mushrooms...whatever, in heavy duty foil. Adds a little oil and spices, closes it up and puts in on the grill. They grill almost year round.

Anyone like to grill?

I cook simple things... grilled cheese, anyone? But my dad is a really good griller. My favorite thing that he grills is boneless/skinless chickenbreast marinated in Wishbone Italian salad dressing. Very simple, but mmmmm, so tasty.

A few years ago, I was at my sister's cookout. She and her husband were busy, so I got stuck working the grill. It was work! No joke. It was hard coordinating everything and making sure everything is cooked right.

They had this extra large grill and there had to be 25 guests. You have to know what you're doing to man a large grill covered with chicken, sausages, tips, hamburgers, hot dogs and buns.

I was so hot standing over that sucker for over an hour. I kept thinking, what have I gotten myself into. I did a good job and lost only a few hot dogs that fell through the grill.

I remember I was sorry I offered. Never again. It's a two person job or someone with experience.

Ew no. I hate the taste of grilled foods. I either boil my hotdogs or nuke them.

I never really liked grilled food except roasted marshmellows. Those are great.

I love grilling.... anything from chicken to hamburgers to corn-on-the-cob. :lol:

I love grilling in the back yard. In fact that's what we are doing for my birthday in a few weeks. Family and friends are comiong over and we're gonne throught some burgers and hot dogs on the grill. Man my mouth is watering just thinking about it :)

I am a big fan of grilled food, especially the mongolian grill at Great Wall Buffet & Grill.

I love grilled food. That charcoal taste is excellent. I love grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. Just the simple things. Nothing like a burger with some worcestershire sauce to marinade with it. Baked potatoes are also another grilled favorite.

Anyone have a George Foreman grill? Those are also handy. It makes grilling inside easy and it takes most of the fat from the meat. Enough is left for it to taste like a delicious, fresh burger. I also like baked french fries or tater tots while having burgers.

The Foreman grill rules! I think I use that thing everyday.

That's what kills me. My husband would absolutely starve to death if it weren't for me or peanut butter and bread (in my absence). He was raised by an Italian mother who did ALL the domestic work. Doesn't have a clue in the kitchen, but put him in front of a BBQ and he works magic!!! I find grilling WAY more complicated that just regular cooking in the kitchen. You've got so many different things on the go and co-ordinating with the rest of the dishes that it's like being a one-armed paperhanger!!

And I agree, since we've switched to gas, its a lot easier and faster, but boy do I miss that good old true charcoal flavouring - ya can't beat it!!

Gas grills do not exist in my eyes.

I LOVE to grill! My family always grills out on our charcoal grill in the summer. Charcoal grilled stuff tastes so much better than gas grills. We grill out brats all the time. I LOVE brats!! Also, sometimes hamburgers, chicken, steak, etc.

I've never actually grilled stuff outside by myself- I really wouldn't know how to do it by myself- my dad usually does it. I should learn how to though.
