The end is near.

How would you react if the world was coming to and end?

I would probably just make sure I was with my loved ones. I'd hate to be alone when that time comes. I try not to even think about stuff like that. No sense worrying about something you can't control.

Hmm... I'd tell the people I loved how much they really ment to me. I'd be lost without my mom, and a few other people who I'm close to... and yes, my cat as well :cat:

That and I'd drink coffee until I puked. You can never have too much coffee!

I'd accept it quietly. If it's the will of God and the earth, I'd have no say in the matter. I'd probably pick a quiet spot in the woods to ponder the history of the world and meditate on how uterly foolish my species had been. If I had a significant other, I would probably be gratelful to have her in my company while I consider things. But I'm not sure whether I'd want to be with my family. I love them, it's a fact. But at this point, I can't imagine them with me in my final hours. It just seems too weird! I'd certainly let them know how much they mean to me.

I like alone time. If the end was near, I'd probably need that, above all else.

I was thinking about this last night and had a panic attack. I would probably just cry and be scared out of my mind until it happened. Ugh, I hate this subject.

Well since I cant do anything to stop it from happening,I guess I'd just be trying to make the most of the time I had left.

I remember in 1980 after I became a Christian, I was on edge for weeks thinking that the End Times were coming soon and so many bad things were going to happen. I was thinking, would the Rapture hit soon before that?? I was so stressed out--was there going to be rioting in the streets and Anti-Christian Patrols rounding all born again believers to kill them off in death camps in the Cascades?? Would they turn me into a can of dog food? Would I get a chance to say goodbye to my friends before they shot me? It sounds funny, but to me back then, I SERIOUSLY thought this stuff.

What really bugged me no end was that after my friends watched a film called "A Thief In the Night" about Christ's return, the method of execution was beheading. And I thought, there are soooooo many ways I'd prefer to go, but having an axe come down on my neck was NOT going to be one of them. I felt like, gee, why not ending it all the way I chose, like death by chocolate? ( I SERIOUSLY thought that, too.)

It's not something I'd take too seriously. I don't think the world will end, I think it will be a renewal of the world to bring peace.

I don't think I feel too bad knowing everyone else is going too. Finding out you have been told you have 6 months left to live and heading off to the other side would make me feel depressed. But if a bunch a people are all going too, I'd think of it as adventure.
