Here are my thoughts:.......

"Happy Days": It did not jump in its "Hollywood" three-parter. It started to go downhill during the 1979-80 season, and it officially stunk when Richie and Ralph left.
"Wings": In a way, the decline began during the sixth season (1994-95), and the last two seasons were awful.
"M*A*S*H": The eighth season (1979-80) was the last truly good one. A reason was that thjis show had become more of a half-hour drama than a comedy.
"Sanford and Son": The fifth and final season was off. It was when Woody and Esther adopted Daniel, and the show was downright preachy (you know what I mean).
"Married...with Children": During the early 1990s when Kelly's looks when to heck and the show became a low-end political forum/commentary. Something else was Al's new voice.
"Unhappliy Aftre After": When this show became a "M...w C" clone.
"Night Court": During the one season that became preachy.......the one with the bratty child actor who disses Bull was one episode, and another one was the parody of Andrew "Dice" Clay.

Here are my thoughts:.......

It jumped any time Casey was in a scene and jumped back when she left.

Full House- Season 8. Total crap.

I'm gonna give the Jump the Shark points for my five favorite shows.

NewsRadio - After 75 episodes, Phil Hartman was murdered. The series never bounced back. Jon Lovitz just didn't have the right chemistry with the cast. I didn't hate the show, in fact I still enjoyed the fifth season. However, if there had to be a time in the series for "Jump the Shark" the death of Phil Hartman would definatly be it.

Taxi - Never Jumped. Although the characters of John Burns and Bobby Wheeler left the show before it's end, the show always got better. In the second season, Reverend Jim joined the cast. Simka married Latka at the end of season four. The show always remained funny and the characters always stayed true to themselves. Unlike some shows where the characters change with the episodes.

I'd personally argue that the beginning of the end for Happy Days was when Fonzie moved in and the show went live. But it was still bearable until the gang graduated from high school. The last few Howard seasons were pretty bad IMO.
