What I would like to know is, who took these home videos of The Munsters, and where can we see the whole thing?

I'm not sure, but I think they changed his lapels to red for the color movie. Who shot it and where is it now? I don't have a clue. However, if anybody has a copy of it, I'd say it'd be Kevin Burns. My best, Dirt MunsterKoach.com (http://www.MunsterKoach.com) Laugh30 04-16-2005, 07:17 PM Actually, he had the red lapels in the episode The Most Beautiful Ghoul in the World. Someone on Ebay was selling the View-master and posted this photo. Fred Gwynne's hands didn't have the makeup, I added the green color. Munsters#1 04-16-2005, 07:28 PM Could you post the original pic, please? :D Laugh30 04-16-2005, 07:40 PM I didn't keep a copy of the original photo before I altered it. Munsters#1 04-16-2005, 07:53 PM Awwwwwwww :( Oh well! Here's some from my collection :) Laugh30 04-16-2005, 08:57 PM That one of Grandpa, Herman, Marilyn and Lily outside the house is from, I guess, "John Doe Munster"? Red lapels again. Munsters#1 04-16-2005, 09:36 PM Correct! You can see in the photo that Fred Gwynne looks just overjoyed! dirtprod 04-17-2005, 05:57 AM :winkgrin I stand corrected. :tiphat: I guess I hadn't noticed the red lapels until Munster Go Home, (then again, I honestly haven't spent much time trying to figure out which pictures came from what episodes.) All the episodes I've seen in the last 40 years have been in black & white. I did re-look at the View-Master pictures and the lapels are red, but aren't as bright as in MGH. It's could be a second season thing. There may have been talk of going color and wardrobe was just planning ahead. The color of Herman's hands, or lack of color, (make-up,) is the way they are on the View-Master reels, as well. If I had a way yo scan them, or I'd post them all. In the reel pictures Lily's arm's aren't made up either. ;) My best, Dirt MunsterKoach.com (http://www.MunsterKoach.com) Laugh30 04-17-2005, 07:51 AM A digital camera with macro ability is a way to take shots of View-Master photos. I haven't yet been able to get hold of the Munsters View-Master. dirtprod 04-17-2005, 03:33 PM Of course, my digital camera doesn't do macro. After I bought the darned thing, about 6 years ago, it wasn't only about 6 months and camera's were coming out with macro, video and a bunch more trick features. Here I thought at the time I got a deal at $400.00. Now you can buy ten times the camera for that. I'll be asking around to see if any of my friends have digital camera's that do macro. :D Technology moves pretty fast if you'd bought a piece of it. I think it's a race to see how fast something can be made outdated. When I got my computer my tech at the time told me that by the time the computer is assembled, packaged and sent to the stores it's behind three upgrades.
