Classic album. This is his debut album that came out in 1994. I was pissed that he had only 9 songs on here. As tight as this album is, he should've had more songs than that. Songs i like on here are NY State Of Mind, Life's A Bitch with AZ, The World Is Yours, Halftime, One Love, One Time 4 Your Mind, Represent, It Ain't Hard To Tell. The World Is Yours remix is tight also. It's a shame it's not on this album. Nas fell off after his 2nd album. He became too mainstream & he should've kept it underground. He makes street songs here & there but he doesn't make enough street songs. He came back hard with Ether song 4 years ago when Jay-Z dissed him. Jay-Z cracked me up when he dissed him saying Nas only made one hot album which is Illmatic LOL. Jay-Z also said Nas went from Nasty Nas to Esco's trash hahahahahaha.
