It is funny how Waldo was Willie's (Steve's enemy) sidekick in season 2 and then in season 3 he suddenly became Eddie, Laura and Steve's friend. Also the same thing with Weasel, he was Ted's side kick and then all of a sudden he became Eddie's friend.

The reason he went from Willie's to Eddie's friend is because the producers asked both Shawn Harrison and Larenz Tate,the guy who played Willie, if they would like to continue on the show as regulars,Harrison Agreed but Tate declined, so the producers decided to make Waldo Eddie's friend instead. Had Tate agreed we probably would have seen Waldo continue to hang-out with Willie instead.

A lot of people think the very first episode Eddie and Waldo are friends is the premire episode from Season 3 is the first episode in which Eddie and Waldo were friends in, but actually it is in the episode when Steve wants to buy Laura and ID Bracelet from later in Season 2.
