...have the same record. The Mets just won, the Yankees just lost, and now both teams are 4-5. Announcers on the radio were already talking about how the Mets should be concerned when they lost the first 5 games, as if they would never win, as if it wasn't only the first week of the season. They never say the Yankees should be concerned, as if it's automatic they'll always work it out. These announcers probably never thought the Yankees and Mets would have identical records after 9 games. When are the Mets going to get props for doing well?

Vash, you wouldn't happen to be a Mets fan would you??? ;)
I agree with you, everyone had the Mets eliminated before the week was over. Some were even questioning Willie Randolph as a manager.

Hmmm, how could you tell? ;) Die-hard.
Now after tonight's game, the Mets have won 5 in a row. As I write this, the Yankees are losing 8 - 1. Yet I bet on the news they won't start off talking about the Mets pitcher pitching a one-hitter, it'll be "the Yankees are struggling." My Mets get no props.

Yeah I feel your pain! I'm a UCLA Bruin fan that live in a town that worships USC. It's tough. ;)
