Because it's all about will power, not about who's physically stronger. For those challenges it's about who has mental toughness. I know if I'd have to stand on a pole for 3 hours I'd go crazy. I admire them for having the power to endure that for that long. The endurance challenges are my favorites.

I liked the food twist better... Oh the temptation of yummy donuts, chocolate chip cookies, and greasy pizza.
