Like many of the good readers of this board, I saw the M&M show on NBC last week. I enjoyed it very much and it reminded me of a much simpler time in my life. Since watching it I've rented a few of the DVDs and seen several episodes of this wonderful sitcom.
I was so enamored of M&M that I decided I'd get to work on my Halloween costume early this year. I'm going to get a costume design student to make me a high-quality Mork space outfit.
Has anyone ever tried this or seen one? I'd like to hear about it.
Cheers,

No - but that sounds great! Shouldn't be too hard to make really. Better start practising your "nanu-nanu's". I absolutely LOVED that sitcom and had a huge crush on Robin Williams back then. As you say, simplier times!!

Cool, thanks for replying so quickly to my thread. Halloween is my absolutely favorite holiday and I always get a cool costume together for it.
Last year I was Speed Racer. In years before that I dressed as an Oompa Loompa. Anyone else?

Same here!! I'm a HUGE kid at Halloween (I'm 44!!!!)
Where I used to work, they allowed us to go nuts each year. They even sanctioned departmental decorating and theme contests. You should have seen how elaborate these things got!
I won 3 years in a row for the dept. contests, and 2 years in a row for individual costumes. The first year I took "most original" for coming in as a cat's hairball and the second, "funniest costume" - I went as a Sales Analyst Nerd and had a whole routine I would do showing people what was in my briefcase.
I go nuts on the house and last year did Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare! The kids just loved it (although I scared the pee out of one little goober)!!
