I'm recommending it, if you like campy, sudsy, bitchy soap operas. This was a favorite of mine when it originally aired, so it's cool seeing it again.

The sound is mono, unfortunately. Maybe by the time Alexis comes along it'll be in stereo at least.

I'd wait until a season 2 confirmation. Since season 1 is Alexis-less and Dynasty without her is like Dallas without JR

I'll definitely be getting Dynasty eventually. What I'd really love to see on DVD, though, is KNOTS LANDING! :)

I'm definitely getting Dynasty season one! It's one of my favorite seasons of the show. IMO, it's probably the best first season out of any of the major primetime soaps from the 80s. Really well-done and well-acted.
