Do you consider yourself to be more of an introvert or an extrovert?

Introvert: a person who tends to shrink from social contacts and to become preoccupied with their own thoughts

Extrovert:a person concerned more with practical realities than with inner thoughts and feelings.Socially outgoing.

I am more of an introvert.I have been since my early teens.I'd much rather stay at home and read a book than go to a party.I've never been an extrovert.

Ditto. I only talk to others, if they talk to me first.

Like the rest of you who have posted so far, I'm an introvert. I have relatively few friends, and never see the friends I do have at school, outside of school. When I'm not in school, I spend most of my time by myself.

Most of the activities I enjoy are solitary ones, or ones that can be enjoyed when you're by yourself - reading, writing stories and scripts, watching TV and listening to music. I do all those things alone.

I'm also shy and tend to feel awkward and embarrassed in the company of strangers (sometimes it can be people I actually know as well.) In fact, sometimes, when I've seen neighbours walking down the same street, I'll suddenly feel self-conscious and won't want to talk to them, so I either change my direction, or duck into a corner somewhere just to avoid seeing them and talking to them! I know that is absolutely ridiculous, and most of the time, I don't go that far, but I have done that a few times in the past.

I'm definitely an introvert kind of person; have been all my life.

Introvert. I'd much rather stay at home all day than go talk to someone.

At heart I am an introvert, but I force myself to be an extrovert for the benefits that come with it.

I am definately an introvert. I prefer staying at home, fiddling around on my computer or watching DVDs. If I go for a walk or go shopping, it's most definately alone because I simply like doing those particular activities alone. However, like one other user mentioned, I am VERY extroverted when I'm with people I know and feel comfortable around. My true self really comes out and I love it :D

p.s. you think of the best questions, Princess of Bel-Air :)

Nope. It's because I normally am not interested in their conversations.

Yep. Sometimes I get annoyed when people try to drag me out of the house. Cuz they usually do stuff that doesn't interest me.

Anyways I'm mostly an introvert but I'm extremely extroverted when I'm around my friends.

I'm definitely an introvert. Even at school I mostly keep to myself except when I'm near my friends and family.
