Just curious. The older he got the bigger his head got. And that big big butt. And the way he danced. The voice. His parents' obvious preference for the handsome Wally. Beav's ******** friends, who would always talk him into doing the dumbest things.

Perhaps, since this was almost 50 years ago, his condition was unrecognized?

I REALLY hope you're trying to be funny with posting this thread (which actually I'm afraid I don't see the humor in).

DOWN Syndrome (not Down's) is a BIRTH defect that is obvious at birth. It doesn't involve just having a big head. Research it.

I agree this is not funny.

I think some of you people people have been abducted by aliens, and that they sucked the humor out of your heads...

It may have been an honest attempt at humor, but more likely he was just trolling for reactions.

If the former is true, it wasn't very funny- not just because it's insulting to someone (Mr. Mathers) whom the members here respect, but also because it was a juvinile and rediculous observation to make for the reasons stated above.

Not to mention being insulting to people with Down Syndrome and other mental disabilities. I've worked with these wonderful people who have a lot to contribute to society and sick humor like that just breeds more and more misunderstanding when organizations are doing everything they can to integrate them into our communities and breakdown the ignorance of their conditions.

Its the same with Schizophrenics. People are continually misinformed that they have multiple personality disorder - they don't - and don't appreciate being called that. It's a brain disorder where sometimes they hear voices, but they certainly don't have multiply personalities.

This is not being anal about political correctness - this is just getting facts straight.
