Which Janet Jackson character does everyone like best?

I have to go with Penny, only because I barely remember Charlene. But I remember Penny having a huge crush on J.J.

I remember the cute episodes of Janet and Todd Bridges, then the sad episode of Ms. Fields as the abusive mother with the iron and all, had to hide that show from my moms so she wouldn't get any ideas !!Peace :wave:

any person janet plays is my favorite. she is my idol (so is nancy mckeon) but i love her in anything she does, i am gunna be a background dancer for her in the future.lol. i hope.

Yeah, Penny. But I loved all of Janet Jackson's characters. You know Penny might be the only "Cousin Oliver" kid I liked. (You know what I mean those kids that come on a show near the end of its run to boost ratings) Penny was the only good one. By the way one of the worst is the Sam McKenny character from Diff'rent Strokes.

Penny, I liked her better on Good Times, especially when she sang and with Ralph Carter.

I'm gonna have to go with Penny. :D

I'm not that familiar with the TV series Fame (though I have seen the movie several times), only the earliest episodes. I don't recall seeing any Janet Jackson episodes.

Charlene, by a land slide. I agree with Solomon on the Penny character on Good Times, defintely, not a highlight of the show.
