Now THAT'S rocking!!! Incredibly good considering he was taking on a song made a legend by the legendary Freddy Mercury and he pulled it off THAT well! That's why I've loved this guy from the beginning!! ;)

Vonzelle was great too! :D

 I missed Simon's critic cuz I ran to the computer to post this!!
I'll watch it again on the westcoast feed at midnight. I was so excited, that I posted on the wrong board - I guess it should be under reality!!

Boy - if I were several years younger, I'd be that guy's groupie!! He reminds me of a young Robert Plant in his looks and style! :D

That REALLY took guts! It's like when the girls try to do Whitney and they criticize them for taking on something waaaaayyy above their abilities - he sure proved that theory can be broken!!

Please guys - do me a big favor tonight? I can't vote cuz I'm Canadian, but PLLLLLEEEEEASE go nuts on his number for me??? Will ya huh? I'll owe you big time (maybe send down a bottle of geniune maple syrup or something!

Me, throughout the whole song: :eek2:

Me, by the end of the song:  :notworthy :eek2:

Basically, I thought he was absolutely amazing and I love him more than ever this week. Bohemian Rhapsody is officially my favorite performance of the season.

Yes, they're toll free. They're 866 #'s, not 800 #'s.

I was wondering how he was going to attempt the high operatic part...and he didn't...no one can do that like Freddie...but what he did was great!

Oh o.k. - I just caught the end of what he was saying. Yeah, now I remember when some poor dude was getting all the calls on his 800 # last year!!

I wondered about that part too, but most of the songs are shortened versions, so it makes sense to cut that out. Even Queen had to do a lot of over-dubbing on the album to get that to work right. I'd like to see him try it in a recording studio (although he still doesn't have the vocal range that Freddie did - not many people do)!

I'd be more generous than Randy - performance 10, vocals 8.5 (he did have a bit of trouble with the high range at the beginning, but after that, who cares if a couple of notes were "pitchy" - its rock - that's the way vocals are done in rock)!

I'll bet there's huge buzz about him today!
