Molly Holly released

Molly Holly and World Wrestling Entertainment have mutually agreed on her release. WWE wishes her the best in her future endeavors.

Well, didn't see this one coming, obviously the WWE may be planning on doing away with the Women's Title as she was one of the best Women's wrestlers ever. Plus she was just on Raw last night teaming with Trish Stratus against Victoria and Christy Hemme. Molly Holly made her debut in the WWE in 2000 and has had several different gimmicks including managing her "cousin" the late Crash Holly, she also managed Spike Dudley and had a love story with him during the invasion angle in 2001, then she went on to become Mighty Molly and managed the Hurricane until the roster split in mid 2002 and then had a makeover with new brown hair and focused on competing solely in the Women's Division in which she held the Women's Title multiple times. She actually made her debut in WCW in 1999 as a valet for Randy Savage known as Mona, but was later let go from WCW within her first year.

Yeah...They may as well just do away with the Women's title. Trish & Victoria can't carry the division by themselves.

Whats sad is, Molly was a really good wrestler and was so devoted to the business that she cut her HAIR For Entertainment purposes...And WWE Would rather hire More Non wrestling Women to sit backstage and talk about how hot Batista is.

Don't get me wrong, I Love hot women...But This is really screwed up.

She apparently was upset that she had to job to Christy during last night's tag match who is not a wrestler. They are going to have another raw diva search which is stupid because you know whoever are the last ten finalists will have some kind of role with WWE even after they are cut. So what's the purpose of the contest? If they were serious about the women's division,they would of kept Nidia,Jazz and Gail Kim. I hope TNA can establish a women's division.

Yeah, Molly had beautiful long hair back when she debuted in 2000, then they made her cut it in 2002 when she turned heel and they mad her get her head shaved at Wrestlemania 20 a little over a year ago and it is now just starting to grow out.

They're even worse. A Few Months from now Molly will probably be dancing on the back of a truck with Dusty Rhodes.

As I said in another thread, the WWE Womens division is a joke. At this point in time, there is absolutely no reason to have a division. Molly was the best pure wrestler in that division. I am totally surprised by this move.

Molly hasn't got a good angle since losing the Women's Title last year.She would've been better off beating Victoria last year

Victoria and Molly Holly were having weekly bouts on Heat against each other each week because they had nothing else for them to do since neither managed a male wrestler. Now Victoria will either get cut or will go back to managing.
