In the episode ship ahoax ginger held a seance and told the castaways to look for the rescue ship when the moon is blue, well when that night came gilligan was kept from lighting a signal fire by skipper after showing gilligan the note that ginger passed at the seance stating she was a fake, well as the skipper and gilligan walked away from the beach lo and behold a ship was passing by and i swear i wanted to cry LOL but what id like to know since I love old ocean liners is does anyone know what ship that was that they showed in the distance or was it even a real ship that exsisted back in the 60s?

My friend who loves ocean liners as well thinks its the SS Constitution but the ss constitution has a very low stern and the ship in GI has a high stern.

I realy don't know but it is real big so maybe its a work ship of some kind.
