I Think so if he would'nt have gotten kille doff i think they had more good years....Like J.J. gett'n really big in the ART world....Michael going on to college adn having a steady girlfriend....Also Thelma having her own dance studio and a good boyfriend for her and Florida and Willona go into business at the Boutique...Just a few ideas also James being able to have a good STEADY job and they could eat Cream of wheat for a change??LOL SO hit me wit some ideas..I think a reunion show would have been the bomb...I know just about all the lines from good times my friends think i'm crazy....but now they're doing it....HA!HA! I'm gonna do my best to keep the Evans family legacy alive.....Here's 2 more Good Times!

I think they had alot of good storyline left. I would have loved to see a spinoff that centered around thelma and keith having their
baby and florida moving in with them.

Not for nothing........ but I didn't care for Keith. He did nothing for the show. They did have alot more good stories to share. I like the Florida and Willona owning a business together idea! Or J J making it big as an artist. Maybe showing his art in an exclusive place where he would have to speak to some big wigs. That would be funny. :happyface :happyface :happyface

In one word yes, James provided such strength for the family.

Absolutely! When James was there, the ratings were real strong, once he left ratings began slipping slowly but surely.
