View Full Version : Just waiting for the news when a loved one is going for surgery

I know death is part of life,I wish we could live for everI already lost my dad and step dad,and a uncle,and a grand-monter,now my mom is going in gor bladder surger andsomething else,she's she's always says 'Every Die"I hope she will be ok she will be 75 on May 1st.The dr's has some explororory to do in her bladder and tear it and put it together again,beacuse she says its hurting all the time,not much right now they gave her some meds for her pain.But othere then that she doe not look like 75 she has a house,drives a car,all her kids left,but me I am still stayin in the same town.So I go visit her alo and of cours Sheeba,she's a pain right nowlol.I just hate not knowing whats going to happen the next few weeks,Hopefullly good and good thought. Thanks I'm 43 and I still worry about my mom.

I pray that everything will be okay for you and your family.Just stay positive and hope for the best.:)

Yeah, it doesn't matter what age you are, its always tough. At least your mom sounds like she's healthy and active other than her bladder problem. I'm sure she'll make it through everything and will be feeling much better afterwards! Hang in there with good thoughts!! :)

Hey I know exactly what you ae going through, my mom has been in poor health for a while and she is also in her 70s..but besides that keep positive thoughts, your mom sounds like a very strong woman and I am pretty sure she is going to be okay :)

I hope your mom will be ok,It is tough especially around that age. My
grandmother will be 78 next Tuesday and she's been through some tough
times too. She's had pneumonia,high blood pressure and asthma lately,
plus she battled the flu back in January but like your mom,my grandmother
doesn't look her age at 77 right now. But she stays active writing her
house payments,reading newspapers and doing crossword puzzles every
day. She also eats well balanced meals and takes her medication as
directed and exercises everyday.It's truly a blessing when you can
still does all those things in those years! :)
