I did like Carrie last night, but not as much as I usually do. The rock thing was nice for a change, but I don't think I'd want to see it again. I think she did great considering the song. She came close to the original in my opinion. I think she could have done better with a different Pat Benatar song, but I'm not really sure which ones were released that year. Some people seem to be disappointed that she didn't do country...well, country in 1983 was different and much more traditional. She seems to like doing the more modern/contemporary country songs. But overall, I did like it.

4. Do not check other peoples lines!!! If you get through thats like splitting your votes! Im guilty of doing this..but im not gonna do it anymore!
5. The biggest one of course- VOTE! Even just one vote counts!
6. When your vote gets through, you dont have to listen to the guy talking, you can hang up as soon as you hear him- BUT i suggest you hang up after he says "Thanks for voting for contestant _________" so you know you definitley voted for Carrie. After he says this, hang up IMMEDIATLEY so you dont tie up her line.
7. Use redial instead of dialing the number over and over again, this is faster and easier.

i know this is kind of immature of me, but i have to say it. the bashing i've read about carrie, for some reason, has really struck a chord with me -- more than any other idol before. yes, people are entitled to their opinions, but sometimes it stunns me what some people say. some people can really contradict themselves. Yeah, that's annoying......that's why I don't go check out IDF. Plus, it messes up my enternet (IDK why, I guess it has something to do with my computer or that site).

well, i'm not 100% sure, but i read on IDF and the official message boards that after the show ended, vonzell said her thank yous, and they did a coin toss, where Carrie won. however, i haven't seen any official word yet, so.. yeah.
