I once interviewed for a job. I went dressed in a business skirt suit. The guy interviewing me ate potato chips and drank a can of Coke during the interview. I couldn't believe it. This wasn't for a flunky company. It was for the Boston Public School Department.

I got the job, but lasted only two months. The guy was insane. His office looked like someone threw a grenade in there, and I'm not exaggerating.

He didn't smell, but his suits did. I don't think he ever sent his suits to the drycleaners. They smelled musty. I had to quit. He was a loon, with a PhD in Education, no less.

Reminds me of one place I worked at where I was expected to walk, housebreak and share my lunch with the owner's dog!!! I was also called in once to witness a fistfight between the owner and his shop foreman!! I think I was there for two months as well! :rolleyes:

That sucks.. but you might still get the job. Some employers just like to give interviewees a hard time.

There's something about really smart people being slobs. Seems like a lot of these trashed out houses you see on TV belong to uber-intelligent people.
