Her murder was so brutal that I can't believe that a woman killed her. That whole segment was great down to the cross-dresser. Elaine Parent killed herself moments after being caught. Even though she's dead I believe there are more holes in this case. Who was the guy? Why was the costume so cheap? Just something I"m thinking about.

You never heard of Countess Elisabeth Bathory of Hungary in the 1600's who brutally tortured and murdered over a hundred teenaged girls to get their blood in an effort to preserve her beauty? Rare for a woman to kill as brutally as the most brutal killers who are men but not unheard of or impossible to happen.

I believe the description they used was "crudely decapitated." She also had her hands and feet cut off to prevent identification. Truly horrible.
Elaine Parent was a sociopath and a brilliant con artist known to law enforcement as "The Chameleon." Court TV runs a documentary about her every once in a while with that title. Keep an eye out for it. After seeing that, there was no doubt in my mind that she acted alone.
