Do any of you actually know someone who has the name Robert Petrie, Laura Petrie, or any name from the DVDS??? I don't know anybody with those name, but I have heard of someone with the name Robert Petrie...

I was at a Jr. District Band thing yesterday, and I had to travel to a nearby school so everybody in the district could practice together. It was a high school, and everybody got situated on the stage and all that. Then someone at the school's office came on the announcemt speakers and said, 'Will Robert Petrie please report to the office??' They said Petrie the right way too!!! I thought that was so funny. I wonder if his middle name is Simpson, or if he has a sister named Laura or something? LOL.

That's a good story!

There was an actor who played bit parts on The Honeymooners tv show named George Petrie. That's as close as I can come, and of course I didn't know him personally.

Oh that's cool! I didn't know that. I haven't really seen much of The Honeymooners lately, I can check that out next time I watch some episodes though!

George Petrie also played Eddie Haskell's father on "Leave It to Beaver."

I don't know of anyone with the same name as a DVDS character, but I am tempted to look through the local phonebook. I won't waste my time looking for Herman Glimshere though. *g*

I've posted this before, and I don't know if it's quite the same thing... but my parents names are Dick and Mary, and they named me Rich! Not a real DVDS connection though, because I was named after my father. And luckily enough my middle name isn't Rosebud, it's Henry (hence the "Hank" nickname.)

Hehe... looking through the phonebook

I'm sorry hank18, I didn't know you already posted this!!! I've only been here for about 6 months, but I'm sorry :( That's cool your parents are Dick and Mary, and you are Rich!! I would love to have the name Mary or Laura, or even Millie :)

I just realized, on 3rd Rock From The Sun, the two older characters are Dick and Mary. LOL. Brain jolt

My sister used to have a friend with parents named Rob and Laura. It had to be a coincidence because the people refused to even own a television set in their home. They were completely anti-tv and anti-media and didn't want their children watching it. I never even thought about the parents' names since this was before I was a DVD fan.

I checked my phone book, and there is a Brady, A.S. listed. The "A" could be for "Alan".
