I've been watching Family Ties on N@N for the past couple weeks (I'm hooked!! LOL) and I have a question. Right now, they're up to the episodes where Elyse is pregnant with Andy. I've noticed that Elyse has been "upstairs" for the past couple of episodes. So I was wondering, was Meredith Baxter really pregnant, and her pregnancy was worked into the show, or what? Why is she missing from these episodes??

Yes I heard she was pregnant at the time. She got twins!

That is correct - That is exactly why she doesn't appear for a few episodes around then.
