I liked Kenny, but I don't think the show would have been as funny if he joined the cast instead of Antonio. I don't think Kenny really added too much. He'd have been awkward as a regular.

He was ok in the episode where his mom dates Brian but other than that, he didn't bring much. Antonio added so much to the show when he became a regular. So much of the big laughs came from his one liners and just the way he interacted with the rest of the cast. kellynch 04-09-2005, 09:18 PM He was way too young to have been a regular character on the show. This is not a high school show, and we don't need long-term high school characters. Wings#1ShowPeriod 04-13-2005, 12:33 AM I think Kenny should have become a regular or part time regular for at least one season like (Farrah Forke and Brian Haley, who was a part time regular). The season he should of become a part time regular was in Season 2 or become a regular in Season 3. So that way, the writers could of written a few more Kenny stories and possibly extended Wings run on NBC. Thats if, they also added Antonio at that time... If it was just Kenny as a regular, and no Antonio.. Wings would not have lasted as long as it did. Because of Antonio, importance to the show. So I dont think it really would have worked well. ticktie 04-20-2005, 04:26 AM Antonio was classic! Tony Shalhoub played him perfect! |
