Too long of a wait between seasons. Look at Sanford and Son, up to their final year this June. All In The Family meanwhile is only up to season 4!? I know that Sanford and Son is just 2 releases ahead, but still, the pace of the DVDs isn't fast enough. If there was ACTUAL effort put into the discs, OK, I'd understand, but its only the stupid previews and the episodes, no extras, no elaborate menus, no anything! I think a classic like All in the Family should be treated better.

I think Sanford and Son seasons were released so much faster because it was doing so well in sales.

I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY...I'm SADDENED by all this RIGHTS stuff going on and the fact that while these financial battles CONTINUE to go on between the owners, that SOMEONE isn't smart enough before we lose ONE MORE STAR, not to sit them down and tape interviews with them about their memories of these shows...

If you want to go FURTHER, get yourself into these reputable boards with folks who KNOW the shows or KNOW the folks who played these characters and let US help you shape the interviews with "deeper" questions...

To me, if you are worried about the PRICE of an item, you put out TWO versions..ONE uncut at a price that SAYS uncut with LOTS of goodies and bonuses and the other in a "plain brown wrapper"....

Sadder still are all the shows we may NEVER see again thanks to them not being syndicated anywhere...at least a studio could get back some of their "losses" by releasing THOSE to US who are TRULY fans of a show :)
