View Full Version : the weird thing about the Randolph Dial Case UnsolvedMysteryDude 04-07-2005, 04:34 AM It's unbelievable that I had just mentioned this case a couple of 5 days ago and that they caught him today! I also had predicted that she had run off with him instead of being taken against her will unsolved_on_film 04-07-2005, 07:04 PM I've gotta say that I've always believed your theory. But yeah, the irony is uncanny! She obviously was charmed by this smoothy. Her husband was a workaholic, uptight type. Dial was the antidote to her painful, boring life. unsolved_on_film 04-07-2005, 07:15 PM i found this CNN article, it indicates, through a third party, that she was a victim. But she could be lying. Or maybe yet, she was having an affair with Dial and wanted out. That would lend some credence to the Stockholm syndrome. The prior affair only made it easier to accept her captivity. http://cnnstudentnews.cnn.com/2005/US/04/05/inmate.captured.ap/ |
