I was wondering how long it usualy takes for a tape to arrive in the mail. I am pretty sure it was sent out the regular way. lauryn07 04-06-2005, 07:04 PM Depending on where you live and when he lives, it could take more than a few days. I've had people send me takes and it's taken over a week. Other people will send it regular mail and it will come in two days. It's the same for out of the US. I've worked with multiple people from Canada and not only have they received my tapes within a few days, I did theirs too. One person told me it would take two weeks to get one tape from Canada, which I didn't think was true. A lot of time it depends on the post office. But if you're both in the US it shouldn't take more than a week to get it. gilligan fanatic 04-06-2005, 07:08 PM ok thanks I should hopefuly have it by the weekend then. I live in Virginia and the tape is comming from Florida. loren 04-06-2005, 07:10 PM it should take under 5 days, but the problem is when did it get mailed i love the companies who offer over night ship for an extra $ 15, and then they dont send it for 8 days after the order i just ordered a new gps for my goldwing, ordered it at 3pm monday and had it at 10 am on tuesday, my kinda company. gilligan fanatic 04-06-2005, 07:11 PM thats so lucky. One of the things I hate most is waiting. It got mailed last Friday Tvo 04-09-2005, 12:04 AM Mail has been extremely slow. Someone mailed me something 8 days ago and I still haven't gotten it and he's not the only one. loren 04-09-2005, 09:18 AM i will give the postal service their due, they have delivered for me in a seriously great way yes i can site a few unexplained delays, but in about 6000 transactions over the last 8 years, they have failed to get the item to the destination, only twice. both times the item was under $ 20. their counter service is nasty, and they dont payoff on damages, so i use ups for valuable things. my rule of thumb is, the quicker i get something to the post office, the quicker the other person will get it. i dont seem to get these constant month long delays that i have heard about--- gilligan fanatic 04-09-2005, 09:25 AM okay I guess I will still wait stoogedog 04-12-2005, 05:05 PM hi, got my tape from quinncy yesterday. it took about 4 weeks to get it, but it was well worth the wait and the price in my book. he has some very rare and hard to find stuff. just thought someone might want to know. thanks gilligan fanatic 04-12-2005, 05:24 PM I got mine yesterday as well.
