Ugh we are under a tornado watch until 9 p.m. tonight. I hate them, they really make me nervous. Anybody else hate these things?

I used to freak out, but now I just hate them when they get really close. Most of the time I sit and stare at the radar coverage on TV, watching it move from county to county.

hmm I can only remember about 2 watches I've ever had...but yes, they are nerve-wrecking

What county? I live in Tarrant county and we got nothing at all last night. We were under the tornado watch too and all. No rain or anything.

I live in Johnson County! Looks like the line of bad thunderstorms formed right past our vicinity.:wave:

Major tornado apparently heavily damaged a high school in Rankin County, Mississippi east of Jackson about 7:30am this morning(around the time school began). Unclear whether people were actually in the school at the time, but the damage looks pretty bad.
