Hi everyone. I just found out alittle something interesting about character/actor on the show. The character of Rebecca, played by Debra Engle (the one who went through artificial insemenation*) also appeared in in Empty Nest, but played different characters.

She first appeared in a Susan Harris show in 1989 in Empty Nest as Mrs. Sexson. Then, later that year in Golden Girls in her first appearance as Rebecca Devereaux. Next in early 1990 she appeared again in Empty Nest, this time as Alexandra Hudson. In Sept of 1990, the 6th season premiere of Golden Girls, she reprised her role of Rebecca Devereaux as well as in March 1991. Debra's last appearance as Rebecca was in the Golden Palace in 1993, which was the last episode of the show.

I just found that interesting how much she did play Rebecca, especially since on the Golden Girls, the children of the Golden Girls characters were rarely played by the same actor twice. Then it also suprised me that after she played Rebecca on GG, she went and played a different character on Empty Nest.

What I found odd was that the extras on the show were rarely seen again. With the exception of George Clooney and other really famous people, most of the extras on the show must be out of show business because I've never seen them again on any other shows.
