well, looking at my post the screen capture came out just fine... looks like nothing is wrong. But everything is way out of proportion... almost like it's caving inwards...

i think i get it..
on your monitor, there should be some buttons to bring up a menu, where you can adjust the shape of the screen. looks like it's on the "pincushion" option.

i'm gonna agree with sara on this one - see if you can find the manual for your monitor and adjust the pincushion setting.

pincushion did nothing... none of hte settings change... i just booted up my computer one day and everything was enlarged... distorted, and running off the screen. I'm so lost on this one.

try a couple of things:
unplug both ends of your monitor cable, make sure the ends arent kinked, and that the pins inside the connectors arent bent, plug the cable back in and see if there is any change
try plugging in a different monitor, to see if you still have the same problem
try using a different cable with your monitor
look in the monitor manual for a degauss setting
