Naw, not 'nuff said. I just posted in another board how WKRP has something over my alltime fan favorite, original Star Trek. I love ALL the characters on WKRP. I can't even say that about TREK!!

Oh, MERGATROYD!

Quote of the Day: "God must hate trailer parks, 'cause he always sends tornadoes there first!" -- Dr. Johnny Fever

(LOL, I just remembered a favorite Les quote... remember Chi-Chi Rodriguez?) I'm dying here, roflmmfao!

One more thing about Lester... I worked at a naval shipyard near Seattle, where the haz-mat unit had cubicles. My first day, I went to talk to one of the engineers, and I looked down and saw tape on the floor, indicating where "the door" was. Playing along, I knocked politely on his table to get his attention, and pretended to "open" the door, like Les requires of everyone. The engineer, a really cool guy, said I was one of the only people who "got it" with the tape. LOL, ain't that cool?

That is a great story.
It's good to see that there are WKRP fans out there.
If it were on TV more often I guarantee the ratings would be great- look how successful it was in syndication.

Listing the favorite characters in order is tough, since they are all great.
At the moment I rank them:

1. Johnny
2. Venus
3. Herb
4. Les
5. Mr. Carlson
6. Andy
7. Jennifer
8. Bailey

doe's anybody know if WKRP IN CINCINNATI is available for showing in syndiction?
it's the all-time biggest money maker for MTM studios in syndicated reruns topping such shows like "the mary tlyer moore show, the bob newhart show, rhoda, hill street blues & newhart"
about a year ago i e-mailed general managers of local stations in my broadcast market
& they told me that WKRP was'nt currently available for syndicated reruns.
but that may have changed.

i would love to see the WKRP IN CINCINNATI board active again!
i would love to get back to the episode discussions with a lot of fans of the show.

i have one more question.
doe's anybody have new information on if FOXDVD (or anybody else)has any plans on releasing WKRP IN CINCINNATI on dvd?

i don't wish to rank my favorite WKRP cast members at this time.
maybe later when this board gets more active.
