I was just re-watching the "Vermont/New Hampshire Serial Killer" episode when I noticed something odd. In the end credits they list the name of the surviving victim as "Jane Brofsky". Why would they reveal the woman's name after going through all the trouble of blacking out her face for her protection?

Hey! Thats a good question! Is that her real name or could it be the name of the actress that played her in the reenactment?

I asked someone who knows more about this case than I and they did say that was the name of the surviving victim! That is pretty irresponsible of UM to put that in there, but was probably just an honest mistake.
