I noticed in the unaired pilot with John Posey he says that channel 5 has him doing the sports. Of course on the show Danny worked for channel 8. Also, in the Subway Bluse episode when they are heading to Jesse's night school graduation there's a Wake Up, san Fransisco poster that says catch it on channel 13, although that could have been the show syndicated into Oakland or San Jose.

Yeah, it's those never-ending TV show inconsistencies. They're just there to keep us on our toes. ;) No, just kidding. TV show writers just probably don't bother memorizing past info, so they just make it up along the way.
