I was wondering if anyone has heard of any plans for a Golden Girls reunion movie? That would be so awesome.

Don't hold your breath, I heard Bea Arthur say she really isn't interested in one on an Entertainment Tonight interview.

I heard the same thing about Bea not being interested too. What a shame http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/crying.gif

That...and Estelle's health isn't grand.

This was in my television section of my daily paper:

I've heard there may be a TV reunion for the cast of "The Golden Girls." Any word when that will be?

When pigs fly, according to someone very, very close to that NBC sitcom. At 78, Estelle Getty (Sophia) is battling Parkinson's disease, which makes her participation risky at best. Close friends Rue McClanahan (Blanche) and Betty White (Rose) probably would be game for the project, but Beatrice Arthur -- the first cast member to depart the show -- isn't said to be interested, preferring to work alone on such projects as her current one-woman Broadway show.

So, it looks like it will never happen... :( :( :(

I wonder if anyone will represent the show during the NBC 75th Anniversary special??

Maybe Betty and Rue will do a promo before the special just like they did for some award show on Lifetime. :D

Well, I saw Betty White's picture in the People magazine ad for NBC's 75th. So, who knows...
