Warner Brothers and The Home Theater Forum finished holding a live online chat with several executives at Warner Home Video. Tomorrow you can look for the full transcript of the chat to be posted by The Digital Bits website http://www.thedigitalbits.com/ .

The 3-hour chat, which - as usual - resulted in LOTS of news about TV-DVD titles.

Warner's response:

Mama's Family is not planned on being released AS OF YET!

Murphy Brown "Season 2" was also in this category. So hope is not all lost. Hopefully Warner Brothers will release it sometime soon. I'm guessing there are no immediate plans for releasing the shows in this category, but are not out yet and may be considered. I am sure glad the show was not on their "WILL NOT RELEASE" list, as of only one show was listed there. Here's more results:

2005 Releases:
Friends S10 ("before the end of the year...loaded with goodies")
Smallville S4 ("this Fall")
Nip/Tuck S2 ("out by Fall")

Batman 60's ("The Batman TV issue is between DC Comics and Fox. It doesn't involve Warner Home Video")
Saturday Night Live (David's note: Broadway Video owns this, and Lions Gate distributes releases)
Doctor Who 1996 TV Movie ("We only distribute the BBC product, so we have no idea what their marketing plans are for Doctor Who")

I'm going to repeat what I said in the Warner Bros Chat thread on the TV DVD board...

Does anyone else find it SOOO wrong that Mama's Family, Alice, and Murphy Brown:Season 2 are not being considered yet for release BUT they are working on The George Lopez show? That just seems wrong to me.
