Yeah after having such great success with sitcoms in the 70's and early 80's, CBS was not strong in the sitcom department from 85-92. The only CBS Sitcom that stands out from that era is Kate and Allie-lol And I never watched that show.

Kate and Allie was my show! I haven't seen it in a while, but I use to watch that every Monday nights. The only reason why Kate & Allie stood out at the time was that it was aimed at younger viewers and CBS caters to older viewers. K & A was something different on CBS, and that should have told network executives to aim for young viewers. When Kate & Allie preimered in 1984, it was an instant top 10 series.
