Now that Todd has lifted the no-politics ban, discussion of the movie Fahrenheit 9/11 is allowed. There are several conditions, though.
1. It is OK to call Michael Moore a name but it is NOT OK to call a member a name. It is possible to get your point or opinion across without the use of insults. Any such posts will be deleted.
2. Do not talk down to others who don't share the same beliefs as you. You have a right to your opinion but everyone else does, too.
3. If there is a situation where I have to intervene and warn you, take heed of it. Likewise, if your post was deleted by me because I found it violating the rules, don't make a new similar post.
Anyone who uses insults or name-calling will get a private warning from me the first time (via PM). The second time will result in a report to Todd, who will decide what action to take. If I do have to intervene, do not make any public complaints or argue with me. That is the new rule. If you have any complaints about any moderator and their duties, you need to talk to TJ about it privately. There is no reason to air it out on the boards and any such posts will be deleted.
If you see a post in which someone calls someone else a name or uses insults towards another member, report it via the "Report this post to a moderator button." It is the exclaimation mark on the left side of the post. Please use the button only once at a time and if there are any other troubling posts you need to alert me about as well, give links to them when you mention why the post is being reported. It is very important that you use this feature because it will get things done much quicker.
Thank you for reading this far.
