View Full Version : Made up sayings
Janice Johnson 03-29-2005, 01:37 PM I made up some sayings and tell me how you like them.
1.Beware of the people walking in your shadow, for one day, they may become bigger than you.
2.Be nice to that homely geek or nerd now, because later they may become one of the hottest eligible bachlorettes/bachelors.
3.Never ever think that anything is worthless, for one day, you may realize that you have a fortune on what you would have thought was worthless.

Thank you, Princess. ;) :D A lady named Yvonne fits the description of number 1. She let her little sister Jane sing back up for her in the early 80's, and now her little sis Jane is a thousand times bigger than her, while she herself is struggling to make even one album now. :crazy:Yvonne's album was announced as coming in October 2003, and has stilll not been released as of March 29, 2005. Jane has had 9 successful albums, and two flops, but the two flops were excusable because she was just starting out and she was pretty young, and didn't really sound as if she even wanted to have a singing career. Two of those succesful albums are remix albums, which sold well for remix albums. Jane has thousands of fans, many #1 hits, and about 8 video compliations(4 only avialable on VHS), and two tours on DVD, and one special DVD Package that combines both of those tours, on seperate DVDs. She has even starred in three movies. Yvonne, on the other hand has had only 3 tours available on VHS, 1 aroebic video VHS, and a sex tape.

Janice Johnson 05-31-2005, 12:54 PM Being more mature or "grown up" does not necessarily mean that you are becoming more sexual.
Real responsibilty is differnet than false responsibility. If you alone will pay for your mistakes and stand on your own, that is real responsibility. If someone else is scraping you out of YOUR messes, cover up for you, or pretend it didn't happen, that is false responsibilty on your part.
Courtnee 05-31-2005, 01:11 PM "Hard work never killed anyone, but why take the risk?"
"Duct Tape is like the force. It has a light side,It has a dark side. And it holds the world together"
"Ways To Annoy Your Professors ~Bring a small cactus to class with you. Raise your hand, and when you're called on, say that the cactus has a question. Turn and look at the cactus, as if you're waiting for it to say something. After a few moments, shrug, and wait for your professor to move on. Do this once a day, and become increasingly irritated with the cactus every time, sighing heavily and giving it evil looks when it fails to "speak." When you leave the room after class, start yelling at the cactus, "I can't believe you embarrassed me AGAIN...."
"I think the person who wrote Alice In Wonderland was high when they wrote it."
