I read in the TC Book that Ritter was too upset to do the Phone scenes with Somers in season 5, so here is my question. Why was it such a big deal whn he wasn't going to be actually talking to her on the phone-lol I mean since it was another person on the other end why was it such a big problem for Ritter to do the Phone scenes? Very confusing.

Well, I think that being she was trying to black ball the show, and than going to sue John and Joyce for thinking that they had something to do with the dispute between Susanne and the producers of the show(concerning money matters), I'd think that, that itself would make anyone upset, don't you?

I think you are confused. I said why couldn't Ritter do the Phone Scenes with Somers like Dewitt did since he wasn't going to be actually talking to her on the phone. Dewitt did the phone scenes and was just as Mad at Somers as he was so that's why I can't understand why was it such a big deal for Ritter.
