When Lucy and Ethel were trying to put the barbecue back together after looking for Lucy's wedding ring

Lucy: "It's times like this that you know what friends are for."

Ethel: "If I had known that this is what friends are for I'd have signed up as an enemy."

When they were getting ready to return from California and Ricky forgot to buy train tickets for the Mertzes, who had counted on the back seat of the Ricardos' car as their way back...

"How would you feel if you had your backseat shot out from under you?"

When Lucy and Ethel were wrapping chocolates

Lucy:I thought you were down in the packaging department. (or somthing like that)

Ethel: I kept pinching them to see what kind they were

I know it really isn't a line, but all of her actions during the last act of "The Kleptomaniac" are, to me, comedy gold. I love her swift actions and how she is a somewhat minion-type to Lucy's Lucy the Lip character - it's just complete hilarity!

Hm .. if I had to choose an actual line, then I would probably say my favorite Ethel line is when she says "Are ya wet?" to Ricky after he falls into the ocean. Vivian Vance's performance of the moment is top notch.
