Hola!

I would like to see a spinoff with Frank and Marie. They are the funny ones on the show. I especially love Peter Boyle. He does the crazy old man bit down to a tee. I lovingly call his character "that crazy old bastard".

What would really be cool is to somehow move Debra's parents (Katherine Helmond and Robert Culp) across the street in Ray's house, and have the two old men start fueding with each other (ALA the movie Grumpy Old Men). The two women can also be rivals in the neighborhood in clubs and whatnot (like who throws a better 4th of July party for example).

I think it would be a hit, kick out the young people except for cameos and let the oldsters fly. It worked for "The Golden Girls" why not here?

I am so with you on this one! Frank is my all time favourite character on Raymond.

I'm not a Raymond fan, I admit... when I've seen the show, all the characters ever do is insult each other, and that's where the humor comes from... the kids in the show are totally useless...I like Patricia Heaton though, she's cool...

One thing I've not been able to figure out... Doris Robert's character is CONSTANTLY insulting her husband... yeah, like SHE'S such a catch?!?

Actually, they pretty much insult each other equally.

I Like That Idea too, Iwas Also Thinking They Could do a spinoff about Robert at work because then they don't have to write ray out they would just focus on robert more and they could still show the parents as recurring characters but also add a whole bunch of new funny characters for Roberts counterparts at work.

Brad Garrett couldn't carry his own show. He can do fine in supporting roles, but a show starring him would not last very long.

I think brad could do it. There are so many storyline possibilities.

I don't know if a spinoff would work,After all I was only a fan of both Ray
and Debra. I only liked when they both argued .
