Is anyone in choir,used to be in choir(like a t school or church or something),or just like the sound of choirs?

The reason I ask is because I'm a saprano and I love choir.

Of course I'm in chorus... I don't want to take an enrichment class. I'm a soprano.

i have been looking into singing lessons though and i have a part that requires some singing in the school play...woo...i love to sing...i've been told many a time to join the choir at my school and church but i've never felt like it

I'm in chorus and I'm a soprano. We're singing "I believe I can Fly" Our teacher gets really pissed off when we sing the "I believe" part because we go down a note after the first syllable "I"and the "I" and the "believe" are supposed to sound the same and have the same note. :grr:

I sang in chorus from sixth grade through the first semester of college. Soprano.

I call singing "my drug of choice" because when I sing I can cry and feel anger, laugh and feel happiness... or just plain relax.

I was in a choir for a few years in highschool,and we had to sing hymns at mass,so I quit.One,it was hymns and I couldn't get the high notes.Two,I dont like going to church.

I love choir. I'm an alto II.

:schmack: YES. YOU. CAN!!!!!!!!!!!! good voices are developed through lessons and practice. a year ago when i started getting serious about it i sounded like crap, and as of now i can sing opera.

I used to be in choir in high school. I was an Alto 1! I loved being an alto. We even got to go on tours to places like Vegas and Tennessee! I sometimes miss being in a choir.

I was in choir for 2 years in HS, but I wasn't that good, so I quit. Plus at my school, choir was like freakin boot camp, so if you weren't really good, you were in trouble. It sucked.

But I liked going to the swing choir concerts. A lot of my friends were in swing choir.

I used to be in the school chorus when I was in junior high(2 years). I was an alto and had some of the best times of my life with that group :) It was fun staying after for it, actually :crazy:

I just like alto considering I can sing more tenor than soprano.

I was in Choir from 6th grade until 10th grade. I enjoyed it for awhile, but by the time I got into High School, I did it all for the credit. I was an alto or alto II, depending on what kind of music we were singing.

i'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT ASKING MY PARENTS FOR LESSONS.I ALSO WANNA LEARN TO PLAY PIANO BECAUSE I WANNA BE A MUSIC TEACHER WHEN I GROW UP.
