Does anyone know how Rose ended up in Miami? Her stories, even those including Charlie, are always in St. Olaf. What brought her south?

One time when the girls were in the kitchen telling stories about birthdays, Rose had a flashback story to tell. We were taken back to Rose's St. Olaf home. Charlie had already died, but Rose decided to have a birthday party with just herself and after she blew out the candles on her cake, she was talking to Charlie (she was pretending he was there) and told him how rough the Minnesota winters were getting and how she had heard some wonderful things about Miami. Soon after, she sold her house and moved down there.

Rose went south because after her hunband passed away she no longer wanted to stay in st olaf so shr come to miami ...

that's how I remember it...

Yep, I saw this episode and I remember that part. She said she had too many fond memories in St. Olaf with Charlie, so she wanted to start over with a new life (one without Charlie) in a different place. That's one other reason she moved to Miami. :wave:
