Here's a xanga (which is basically a livejournal), of a Hollywood contestant that made it to the group auditions. According to one of his entries, he made it on air after his group performances and was told he was abysmal by Simon (even though that was due to editing), but I don't remember seeing it >_<. I might have to watch back. However! He was friends with Carrie Underwood, and has been ever since the St. Louis auditions! It's an interesting read (plus, there are pictures!)
