Okay to tell you the truth I have never seen Mork and Mindy on my life but I was watching tv and saw a commercial about it. It was like a behind scenes thing and it said Robin Williams was on it and he was a cocaine abuser. I just wanted to know if that was true.

Yes, at one point early on in his career he was into Coke. He's since long given it up (but it appears the after-effects remain)!! haha!

On coke or not Robin is a natural comic he does better physical comedy that John Ritter ever did and is much funnier than ritter ever was.

I agree with the above statement. I like Robin Williams & all that, but I don't think he was better than John Ritter. If RW was just as good or better, then why did M&M get cancelled after only about 4 years. Three's Company lasted 8 years (twice as long) because of John Ritter & his physical comedy routines. He was one of the all-time greatest physical comedy actors in ALL of TV history. He is truly missed & I'm glad & fortunate to have some of the work he left behind. R.I.P. John (Jack Tripper) Ritter. YOU DA MAN!!!!

Well you can't compare Ritter and Williams by comparing Three's Company and Mork and Mindy because they were two completely different shows

Mork and Mindy got canceled because they came up with that lame storyline about Mork getting pregnant with a grown man that was Jonathan Winters character called Merth.
You had two comedic legends together on one stage and they were good for only one joke.
After ABC canceled the series, Robin continued to voice his Mork character for the Saturday morning cartoon on ABC for one more season.
But Robin was starting to make movies (Popeye for example) and it was only a matter of time before the series would end.

I would have liked the show better if Robin Williams played the Mork character like he did on Happy Days

Yes He did do cocaine as he mentions in some of his standup... So it is true. Not sure if that point he was still doing it or if he quit it... The Tv made movie are usually not fact based movies and will have some way of letting you know that not all things fact driven.
