a few times the show has flashed back to 1950s brooklyn with 20-something dorothy and ma and sal, but dont you wish the show had more old flashbacks. they do flashback shows, but they should do some scenes with Rose as a girl in the '30s and '40s in st olaf, with a visual aid to some of her ridiculous stories. and blanche as a slutty teenager. that would be so cool!

Nah....the more left to the imagination as to Rose & Blanche's stories, the better. Besides, I think the way they have the two of them telling their past stories are pretty colourful alone.

But yeah, the thought is there. Why didn't they?

I would have really enjoyed that a couple of times, but I think for the most part the writers wanted to leave Blanche & Rose's outrageous stories to the imagination. It would have been awesome if they did that, though!

Yeah, that would be cool. But it would be hard to find people to play them. the woman who played the young version of Dorothy bore an uncanny resemblance to Bea Arthur!
