OK, I'm not exactly 125 lbs. but I think if I were to get to the 300-400 lb. mark, much less over a 1000 lbs, I'd be like, "OK, something needs to be done about this, I can't let myself get any bigger, I need help". I just cannot imagine not being able to function in life, not being able to even walk to the bathroom, to shower, to leave your home, etc.

And also, to 'flaunt' it on the computer? I'm sure this guy is a great person, but it's almost like he's proud that he's so heavy.

Jesus Christ. That's so sad. I'm only about 40 or so pounds overweight and I can't even handle that, nevermind weighing 1,000 pounds. I feel really bad for him and I hope he gets some help.

Its crazy how people can get this big and still live, but then you get others who get heart attacks and such at 250+ and die. But daaaamn. I need to lose weight and all, but I would NEVER NEVER allow myself to get that big, and if friends or family truly cared for him, they wouldnt have let him either.

This reminds me of those episodes on Maury and such when the parents are like.. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.. MY KIDS JUST CRY FOR IT. And they give theyre 4 year old like, 10 eggs, bacon, toast, waffles, and all this crap for one meal and its like UGGGH. Im surprised child services doesnt get involved or something.

Well if you read the stuff on his site, hes in his 30s, not a child. He also orders out fast food alot. Hes to blame for this really, no one else.

I was bulimic one night,when Jerry Springer had this guy on his show who was so fat he had to be lifted out of his house,and he was eating a bucket of chicken! He was FOUL,and I couldnt eat my dinner.I think he's dead now.

I don't think people should feel sorry for this guy. It's not like he woke up one morning weighing 1000 lbs. Over the years he let his health decline and did nothing to stop gaining weight. It's his own fault he didn't stop at 400 or 500, but instead kept going to 1000.

Yeah, just like I wasn't careful about my weight years ago.

Anyway, unless he had some problem with his body that just made him gain all that weight, he should've been more careful.

But how in the world could you type on your computer, take a bath/shower, walk around, sit down on a chair if you're 1000 pounds?! Well, you could, but it defintly wouldn't be easy!

Some Drs won't do gastric bypass on people over a certain weight because it's too dangerous they have more of a risk of dying under the knife than someone who was smaller like me.

I would think that his internal organs are under a HUGE amount of stress. No pun intended. Anyway, if they are already maxed out, so to speak, then something as tramatic/stressful as surgery could cause them to just give up.
