I know yesterday (3/24) was the final taping of the season for 8 Simple Rules. I was wondering if anyone has heard if anything was said by any of the cast or crew as far as next year ? Sometimes they will drop hints as to whether or not they may be back for another season ? Does anyone know what the final show was about ? That may give us a clue as to whether it was a season or series finale or neither. I also heard sometimes it is a sign as to whether the set was taken down at the end of a season, as to whether a show is coming back or not.
If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it being shared with us.
Thanks

I wish I knew myself. Usually you don't find out almost until towards the beginning of September(if I'm correct). Also, you may be able to find out by going to futoncritic.com There they give you updates on what :tv: will be comming back this fall (and those yet to be determined). Also, you can also watch E! News Live on Tuesdays,@ 7pm.(est) they give you the news on who's comming back, and who's being cancelled. I know that 'North Shore' is history. I myself never watch night time soaps(like my sister does).
By the way, did anyone catch 'Life On A Stick' last night? I saw it, it's o.k., not anything out of the ordinary. Don't really know if I'll contine to watch it though.

I emailed the futoncritic.com just yesterday, and surprisingly, they emailed mre back stating that the fate of '8 simple Rules' will not be known until May 17th. Just to let everyone here know.

Not to fuel your "It has no chance" campaign, but the Season finale is called "Ditch Day", unlike the previous finale's it is not a 2 part episode.

So, and the point is? Your just telling us the the season's finale episode is called 'Ditch Day', thanks for the info. Let's hope that the viewers don't decide to 'ditch' this episode.

Yeah, Hope and Faith, According to Jim, and My Wife and Kids all have one hour season finales. All the chopping block shows (other than George Lopez) all have half hour season finales and at dates before the May sweeps. It could be a sign...
